Grampian Police can confirm they are making enquiries into a report of an assault that occurred around 2am on Sunday 20 November 2011, in the grounds of Portlethen Academy, Portlethen Aberdeenshire.

The victim, who is aged in her twenties, was treated at ARI for minor injuries before later being released.

The investigation is at a very early stage and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
